Charlotte

Charlotte is an experienced and academically accomplished tutor specialising in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. She recently completed an MBiol in Biological Sciences at Balliol College, University of Oxford, where she achieved a First Class degree, and will begin a PhD in Biological and Environmental Sciences in September 2024. Her current research focuses on climate and biodiversity policy across global institutions.

Charlotte has been tutoring since 2020, supporting students from GCSE through to Oxbridge admissions. She teaches Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, and offers tailored guidance on EPQ projects and university applications, including interview preparation for Oxford Biology and Natural Sciences. Her tutoring is shaped by four years of experience in the Oxbridge tutorial system, and she encourages students to engage deeply with topics through discussion-based learning.

Charlotte achieved 3 As and an A at A Level (Biology, Chemistry, EPQ, and Physics) and 11 As at GCSE, including Further Mathematics and Triple Science. She has a particular talent for building student confidence in scientific reasoning and exam technique, and has worked with students from a range of academic backgrounds, including through outreach and widening participation initiatives.

Her strong academic foundation, alongside her experience mentoring students into top universities, makes her especially well-suited to students aiming for excellence in the sciences and competitive higher education pathways.
