Francesca

Francesca is a highly experienced tutor specialising in English Language and Literature. She studied at Christ Church, University of Oxford, where she earned a 2:1 in English and was awarded a scholarship for academic excellence. She later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Practice, further strengthening her insight into learning and communication.

Francesca has tutored English since 2017, working with students across a range of levels. She teaches 11+ and 13+ English, English as a Foreign Language (EFL), GCSE and IGCSE English Language and Literature, and A Level English Literature. She also prepares students for the English Literature Admissions Test (ELAT) and offers personal statement support across all subjects.

She has a strong record of helping students secure places at top schools and universities, including Oxford, and is particularly experienced in preparing students for Oxbridge English applications. Drawing on her own experience of the Oxford tutorial system, Francesca helps students sharpen their analytical writing, prepare for entrance tests, and develop the confidence to excel in interviews.

Alongside her tutoring work, Francesca has been a professional writer and editor since 2017. Her background in literary analysis and editorial work makes her especially effective at guiding students to write with precision, clarity, and academic depth.
