Biology and Chemistry

Jessica is currently completing her 4th year in Medicine at the University of Cambridge, having graduated with a BA in Psychology. She achieved A*A*A*A* at A Level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology, and earned 12 A* at GCSE.

Jessica has extensive tutoring experience, with hundreds of hours of tuition at GCSE, A Level and university entrance level. She excels in tracking progress, adapting lesson plans in response to feedback, and supporting students with a range of learning needs. Jessica has also worked with schools abroad, providing tailored examination support. Most recently, she has been supporting high-achieving students in preparation for the International Biology Olympiad competition.

Alongside tutoring, Jessica has contributed to educational workshops on the medicine application process, and continues to provide specialist interview support. She has worked as a Learning Support Assistant at Columbus School and College, where she supported students with individual education plans and ABA-based interventions. She has also mentored international students through Immerse Education, helping them integrate academically and socially within summer school programmes.

Jessica has undertaken several research projects, including work on the economy and health systems, global water crisis impacts on health and heterogeneity in autism, drawing on statistical analysis, literature evaluation and R-based data handling. Her academic background and experience working with diverse learners enable her to bring clarity, structure and encouragement to her teaching.

With her strong scientific training, stellar academic record and proven tutoring success, Jessica is committed to helping students build confidence, master challenging material and reach their full academic potential.
