Karol

Karol specialises in Chemistry, Mathematics and Further Mathematics, supporting students from KS3 through GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and IB. He also provides tailored support for Oxbridge applicants, including Natural Sciences interview preparation and structured practice for Oxford science admissions.

Karol has over 5,000 hours of tutoring experience across more than ten years. He began tutoring in 2014 and quickly built a strong client base through word-of-mouth referrals, working with students across a wide range of abilities, from those building confidence in core concepts to high-attaining students at top independent schools. He has prepared students for Oxbridge interviews and supported them through competitive admissions processes.

His teaching is example-driven and built around deep questioning. Rather than simply presenting theory, he works through problems with students and follows up with questions that push them to transfer their understanding to new contexts. He gives each new student a diagnostic assessment to identify gaps, and structures lessons around building genuine conceptual understanding alongside strong exam technique.

Karol holds a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge (Wolfson College) and is currently completing his PGCE in Science (Chemistry), also at Cambridge. His formal teacher training has further strengthened his ability to support EAL learners, apply research-backed teaching methods, and help reluctant learners build motivation and confidence.
