Maths

Martin specialises in A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, IB Maths (SL & HL), supporting students aiming for top grades and competitive university pathways.

He is currently undertaking a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge, where he is part of the Atmospheric Fluid Dynamics group, funded by the NERC CREATES Doctoral Landscape Award. He previously completed an MSc in Mathematical Sciences at the University of Oxford with Distinction, where he was awarded the Archibald Jackson Prize for academic performance, and a First Class BSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Bath, with his final-year research project recognised as one of the top three in his cohort.

Martin has a strong academic track record from an early stage, including achieving the highest score in Spain for AS Level Physics and receiving a High Achievement award for IGCSE English as a First Language.

Alongside his academic work, Martin has direct classroom teaching experience as an A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics teacher at The British School of Cordoba, one of Spain’s leading British schools. During this role, he taught multiple A Level groups, significantly improving outcomes, including a documented increase in pass rates, with all Further Mathematics students taught achieving A grades.

Martin combines a rigorous mathematical foundation with clear, structured explanations, making him particularly effective with students tackling demanding A Level content and those preparing for competitive university courses.
