
Melanie
Melanie is a Senior Project Manager at BBC Media Action and an Oxford graduate in Public Policy. She has over nine years of international experience working with the United Nations, Thomson Reuters Foundation, and other leading institutions on projects spanning diplomacy, international development, humanitarian assistance, and media capacity-building.
She completed her Master’s in Public Policy at the University of Oxford as a Saïd Foundation Scholar, after earning a Graduate Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance at Fordham University (Distinction) and a Bachelor’s in Sociology at the University of Paris (Top 5%).
Melanie has led multi-million-pound international projects, training programmes, and fellowships supported by organisations such as UNESCO, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Gates Foundation. She has also been recognised as a Schmidt Futures International Strategy Forum Fellow and a Chatham House Leadership Fellow.
She tutors Politics, International Relations, Sociology, Media Studies, and supports students with Oxbridge and public policy admissions. Fluent in French, English, and Arabic, Melanie brings a wealth of global perspective and expertise to her teaching.
