Mirsab
Mirsab specialises in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English, supporting students from KS2 and KS3 through 11+ entrance preparation, GCSE and A Level. He also provides dedicated admissions support for aspiring medical and dental students, including UCAT preparation, interview coaching and application mentoring for Oxbridge and Russell Group universities.
Mirsab has tutored since 2019, working with students across a range of ages and abilities. He began by delivering structured English and Mathematics tuition to pupils in Years 7 to 9, developing accessible learning tools to support neurodivergent students. In 2021 he founded his own tutoring service, Curio3ity Tutoring, where he provided tailored GCSE and A Level subject support and saw 95% of his students improve by at least one grade. Alongside subject teaching, he has built considerable experience in university admissions, mentoring Oxbridge and Russell Group applicants and preparing Medicine and Dentistry candidates for interview, with several students going on to secure offers, including an unconditional offer from King’s College London to read Dentistry. He has also mentored over one hundred students from underrepresented backgrounds through the Social Mobility Foundation and the Sutton Trust, including dedicated Oxbridge preparation.
His tutoring is tailored to the individual learner and built around structured, carefully planned sessions. He designs accessible learning tools to make abstract concepts more approachable, an approach that has proved particularly valuable for neurodivergent students, and he monitors progress closely throughout. For admissions students, he combines academic guidance with communication coaching to support them through aptitude tests and the interview process.
Mirsab is studying Medicine at the University of Cambridge (St Catharine’s College), having specialised in Psychology within the Natural Sciences Tripos, where his research investigated the influence of cardiovascular health on cognitive function in older adults. He achieved A Levels in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, each at A*, alongside an A in Further Mathematics.
His combination of Cambridge academic training, several years of tutoring experience spanning entrance exams, school subjects and competitive admissions, and a tailored, supportive approach makes him well suited to ambitious students, whether they are working towards top grades or competitive places in Medicine and Dentistry.
