
Murray
Murray specialises in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, supporting students from 11+ to GCSE and A Levels, as well as those preparing for competitive university admissions and IB exams.
Murray has extensive tutoring experience with agencies and private clients, supporting students with Maths, Chemistry and Physics, as well as those preparing for Secondary School entrance exams, the Cambridge Senior Chemistry Challenge and the Physics Aptitude Test (PAT). He has also delivered large-scale problem-solving presentations to groups of up to 150 students, followed by interactive sessions to develop exam technique and confidence.
He is currently studying Materials Science at the University of Oxford (Trinity College), where he achieved a 2.1 in Part I and is on track for a First Class degree. During his studies, he was awarded the Worshipful Company of Armourers and Brasiers Award, ranking first in his cohort, and has consistently performed at a high academic level across both research and laboratory work. Prior to this, he achieved A*A*A* at A Level in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
In addition, Murray has worked as an admissions tutor, providing tailored support for Oxbridge applicants, including interview preparation, personal statement guidance, and structured PAT practice. His teaching focuses on building strong foundational understanding, improving problem-solving speed, and developing clear, methodical approaches to complex questions.
