Ping

Ping is an academically exceptional tutor specialising in Mathematics, Computer Science, and university admissions preparation. He is currently studying for an MSc in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Oxford, and previously graduated with First Class Honours in Mathematics from Imperial College London, ranking in the top 5% of his cohort and earning a place on the Dean’s List each year. At school, he achieved all A*s or equivalent at GCSE and A Level, with top grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics.

Ping has several years of experience tutoring Mathematics and Computer Science, supporting students from GCSE and A Level through to university admissions, including Oxbridge. He has also mentored younger students in competitive mathematics circles and has qualified for the final rounds of the Imperial–Cambridge Mathematics Competition and the Inter-University Integration Bee.

Ping offers advanced support for high-aspiring students preparing for admissions tests, interviews, and Olympiad-level problem solving. He draws on his own experience of success in competitive mathematics, as well as his strong foundation in theoretical and applied computing, to guide students through complex content with precision and clarity.

In addition to his academic record, Ping has undertaken extensive training in programming and machine learning, including advanced coursework in neural networks, natural language processing, and statistical analysis. He is fluent in both Mandarin and English, and his wide-ranging skill set makes him particularly well-suited to students aiming for top universities, competitive exams, or careers in STEM.
